The Faculty of Economics 

The Faculty of Economics came into being in 2001, taking along with it the scientific achievements and years of experience gained as former campuses of the Faculties of Economics of the universities of Maria Curii-Skłodowska, Lublin, and the H. Kołłątaj University of Agriculture, Kraków.  

Scientific studies that focus on socio-economic issues such as economic growth and development, agricultural and rural economics, market mechanisms for impacting on quality, as well restructuring of companies and socio-economic transformations have continued to serve as the core of the faculty’s development as well as that of the academic staff.  

The Faculty has in its enrolment 1400 students in 2016/2017 academic year. Studies are conducted both as regular and part-time.

There were 70 academic and teaching staff, including 18 professors as at the end of 2016.  

The Faculty prepares students both at the bachelor and master’s degree levels. 

Economics

The Faculty of Economics is accredited to award:

  • Doctor of Philosophy of Economic Sciences in the field of Economics.
